As an uprising service oriented entertainment business, I needed a web site, and didn’t know where to begin. I would have like to built my own site, but time, patience, and lack of knowledge pointed me in the direction of the yellow pages. After letting my fingers do the walking, I found John at Big Arrow Up. “Silly name” I thought, but frankly, I liked his ad in the phone book, which prompted me to make the initial call. His office is also convenient to mine, which was a convenience.  

With some ideas in mind, prepared text, marketing materials, and photos, I met John at his office.  He offered me a friendly attitude, professionalism, creativity, and know-how about what he thought would work for my site. Upon meeting with him, I learned he had worked for Verizon Yellow Pages as an ad representative before starting his web design business.  Clearly, his knowledge of ad design and what people look for in ads was helpful in the development of my site. After all, a web site IS another means of advertising. John was always available to answer my questions, make suggestions, and ultimately was able to satisfy my site needs. In addition to my own research about the positive and negative “things” to include in a web site, I should mention that while working with John, he gave me some insight on how the whole web process works.
